Koreksi Atmosfer Citra SPOT-6 Menggunakan Metode MODTRAN4 = Atmospheric Correction of SPOT-6 Image With MODTRAN4 Method

Nilai reflektansi sangat penting dalam proses klasifikasi objek citra digital yang penyimpangannya menyebabkan kesalahan dalam interpretasi citra. Hal inidisebabkan oleh penyerapan, hamburan, dan pantulan atmosfer yang menyebabkan perbedaan nilai reflektansi citra satelit dan objek sebenarnya. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan koreksi atmosfer dengan metode MODTRAN4 pada citra SPOT-6 level ortho untuk menghilangkan pengaruh atmosfer pada citra, sehingga nilai reflektansi citra sesuai dengan nilai reflektansi objek sebenarnya di permukaan bumi. Hasil koreksi atmosfer dianalisis visual dan dibandingkan pola reflektansi citra. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanyaperbaikan pola reflektansi pada objek vegetasi, lahan terbuka,dan air sungai pada citra SPOT-6 seperti referensi reflektansi NASA.. Penelitian ini menunjukkan metode MODTRAN4 sebagai salah satu metode yang sesuai untuk melakukan koreksi atmosfer pada citra SPOT-6.
Reflectance isimportant parameter in digital image object classification. Reflectance distortion causes an error in theinterpretation ofimages. This is caused bythe absorption, scattering, and reflection of the atmosphere that resulted in difference between the reflectance of satellite image and real object. In this research, atmospheric correction with MODTRAN4 method on SPOT-6 image levels ortho to eliminate atmospheric effect on the image, so the image reflectance correspond to the real object reflectance on earth surface. Atmospheric correction results was analyzed visually and compared to changes in the pattern of spectral reflectance image. The results showed an improvement in spectral reflectance patterns on the objects of vegetation, bare land, and water in SPOT-6 image like the spectral reflectance reference from NASA. This study concluded that MODTRAN4 method is one of the suitable method to use in atmospheric correction on SPOT-6 image.
