In this paper we discuss test of accuracy of ionospheric critical frequency mapping by using Multiquadratic method. The test of mapping accuracy use observation data of Biak, Pontianak, Kototabang, Sumedang, and Pameungpeuk observatories,
during 2006-2007 and 2009-2010, and additional data from ionospheric model. Analysis bave obtained five conclusions. Firstly, application of Multiquadratic using observation data has obtained the higher foF2 than it application using asymilation
data. Secondly, values of foF2 from the map have an linear correlations to observation values and the values will be close when reference points distance are more close. Thirdly, application of Multiquadratic method by using obervation data and 1600 km minimum distance of reference points, have obtained the relative error less than 0.25 and deviation standard 0.24. While application using asimilation data result the same value of realitive error and minimum distance of reference points is 1000 km. Forthly, the accuracy of foF2 map of this method able to be improved by using addational reference points such as the minimum distance of reference points on the order of few kilometers. Fifthly, because in actually, the distances of ionospheric observatories location in Indonesia are on the order of 800 km, then the foF2 mapping for this region
needs additional asimilation data.
