Acid rain was rainwater with pH (acidity) 5.6 where pure water was in balance condition with global CO2 concentration (350ppm) in the atmosphere. Rainwater acidity was influenced by acid elements such as SO42-,NO3, Cl as well as base elements such as NH3 and CaCO3. Transportation and industrial gave impacts to atmospheric CO2 concentration. In 2004 in some locations in Bandung, such as Cipedes (West Bandung) and Jl.Martadinata (East Bandung) represented heavy transportation area and Dago (North Bandung) represented residential area had various CO2 concentrations. CO2 concentration varied between 330-426 ppm in Cipedes and 307-372 ppm in Martadinata, Dago varied between 254-290 ppm. It was found that there was correlation between CO2 concentration and acid rain in Bandung generally except in Dago.
